In September 2016 we made almond harvest in our field of organic almonds soft shell Ferragnes and Thunder. Our contractor has taken steps to mechanized harvest with umbrella car and when the car was filled with almonds is immediately below the hulling directly on the field, and finally were carrying the almonds from the field to the campers for their drying in the sun for a few day.
When almonds were dry we put the bags they were carrying and the warehouse where they are ready for crushing through mechanical cold machine that separates them from the skins and the allocation size. Then crushed almonds are patiently hand-checked to remove impurities and separate them from those broken. We started to manufacture and ship the numerous requests of fair trade groups loyal especially in central and northern Italy (some in Europe) by courier.
